Full Time Assistant Teacher

Working in direct coordination with the Lead Teacher, the Assistant Teacher leads children in classroom activities to promote child development in all areas: cognitive, social, emotional, physical and self-care skills. The candidate will assist the teacher in setting individual children's goals, implementing lesson plans, and corresponding with parents; prepares materials and sets up daily activities. The candidate will ensures all classroom and center wide policies and procedures adhere to state. Infant Aide

Substitute/Floater Childcare

The Substitute/Floater will provide room coverage at times when necessary due to breaks, lunch, or morning drop-off. Working in direct coordination with the Lead and Assistant Teacher, our substitute teachers/floaters assists in all areas of child development: cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills. The candidate will assist the teachers including corresponding with parents; preparing materials and setting up daily activities. The candidate will ensure all classroom and center-wide policies and procedures adhere to Minnesota guidelines. Develops and maintains professional and positive relationships with the children, parents, staff, and community partners. Kiddie Chef

Working in direct coordination with our Owner/Director, our Kiddie Chef will be responsible for food preparation for the childcare center's enrolled children. As a cook, you will prepare healthy and tasty meals/snacks for the children in our center. Following a menu and recipes developed by our in-house nutritionist, you’ll ensure our children have the fuel they need to learn and grow. Our ideal cook will maintain the kitchen and related equipment safely and hygienically. You will also assist in ordering food and supplies. You will also complete timely and accurate documentation according to Kid's Haven and other licensing or regulatory requirements. Familiarity with proper conditions and food storage, the ability to understand the needs of children with food allergies, and to implement methods of food cross-contamination avoidance. Ability to follow nutritious menus and prepare a sufficient quantity of foods for enrolled kids. You will need basic math skills required for measuring and calculating serving portions. Must be physically able to lift up to 40 pounds is strongly desired and may be required to work in some classrooms or in the kitchen. Ability to speak, read, and write English.
