The teachers and staff at Kid's Haven are friendly and welcoming. When we first enrolled our son we found it difficult to part with him at 3 months old, but the teachers made us feel so comfortable and communicated with us as much as we needed to feel reassured that our son was well cared for. Now after 3 years, he is able to tell us in his own words how much he likes Kid's Haven. As a working parent it is great coming in at the end of the day to pick up a happy child. As any first time parent would in the midst of relocating, we had apprehensions about moving our daughter to a new child care facility because after a year at her first daycare center she had become attached to her teachers and so had we. However, when we went for our initial visit and walk through the staff was very friendly & welcoming and it helped to put us at ease and make the transition very smooth. Our daughter has now been at Kid's Haven for over 2 years and in the 6 different rooms that she has advanced through she has had amazing teachers in each one of them. Teachers that care about her not just as a number, but as a very important little person and they have formed quite a bond with her. Kid's Haven has been a great childcare provider / preschool program for our children. We initially chose Kid's Haven due to the flexible schedule and recommendations from several friends. We have really been impressed by the dedication of their staff & teachers. The staff & teachers truly care about our kids and know them personally. They know how to constructively help each child make it through a challenge, whether that be separation anxiety, sharing, or ensuring rest time is observed.
We have also been impressed with the knowledge that our children have gained at Kids Haven. Kid's Haven is very flexible if you would like your child to attend a school based PreSchool. But again it is nice to know that they are learning each day they attend "daycare" and that summer time will not result in knowledge loss, but instead show knowledge gain as they continue to experience educational activities that are directly geared for their level/ age, as well as maintain a curriculum program year round.
On a side note we enjoy all the "perks" of Kid's Haven as well. Our kids can get their haircut during the day at a Professional Stylist who has a special knack for working with children. There are field trips and special days that our kids can participate in as well. We also really appreciate the safety of the facility. The security measures are comforting and the staff really know their kids and where they are at all times. Our children went from staying home with Mom to center-based daycare at Kid's Haven. I could have "mom" guilt due to this change, but I don't because I know my children are being cared for in a safe, caring, inspiring environment. We are happy and our kids are happy with Kid's Haven. Our family has attended Kids Haven for over 6 years now. All 3 of our girls have had positive experiences and are so excited whenever they see their previous teachers. The best part is their teachers are genuinely excited and overjoyed to see them too!
